Terms of Delivery and Trade

Below you will find the terms that apply when you, as a consumer, make a purchase at www.wintherstudio.com. 
 

1. General Information

2. Delivery  

If you have placed an order that you regret, we encourage you to contact customer service via phone or email as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that the order can be canceled once it has been placed, but we will attempt to act on inquiries as quickly as possible. 

Your order will be delivered within 3-5 business days. You can choose between different delivery options, either to a parcel shop or home delivery. 

Once your order has been processed, you will receive a tracking number via email. If you have chosen pickup at a parcel shop, you will receive an email or SMS notification when the package is ready for pickup and where you can collect it. 

During peak periods such as Black Friday, Christmas sales, clearance sales, etc., delivery times may be longer. 

We always strive to ship your order the same day if it is placed on a business day before 2:00 PM. Please note that pre-ordered items will have longer delivery times, which will be specified in the product description. 

Note: If you have provided incorrect delivery information, please contact us as soon as possible. We disclaim all responsibility for spelling errors in house numbers or email addresses that may result in the package not reaching you correctly, whether it is for parcel shop pickup, home delivery, or warehouse pickup. 
 

Parcel Shop  
If you do not pick up your package and it is returned to us, you will be charged the actual shipping costs for the return shipment. If you wish to cancel the purchase, these costs will be deducted from the amount to be refunded to you. If you want the package resent, you must pay the delivery costs. 

We disclaim all responsibility for any typing errors you may make when entering your contact information. 
 

3. Return and Right of Withdrawal  

You always have a 14-day right of withdrawal. The deadline expires 14 days after you have received your package or picked it up at a parcel shop. 

If you have ordered multiple different items in one order but they are delivered individually, the deadline runs from the day you receive the last item.

For agreements on regular delivery of goods over a specified period, the withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you receive the first item. 

If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must explicitly notify us, for example, by sending an email to support@wintherstudio.com with your order number and stating that you wish to exercise the right of withdrawal. Your email will NOT be answered. You can also use the standard withdrawal form found at the bottom of the terms. 

You CANNOT cancel the purchase simply by refusing to accept the package or failing to pick it up at the parcel shop without notifying us. 
 

4. Returns  

If you wish to return an item under the return policy, you have 14 days from the date you notify us of your intent to use the right of withdrawal. You are responsible for the return shipping costs, ensuring the package arrives safely and undamaged. Therefore, we recommend using a tracked shipment. 

For complaints, do not create a return order but instead open a case by writing to: support@wintherstudio.com.  

Gift wrapping costs are non-refundable. 
 
Return Portal 

To complete your return, please follow these steps:  

  • Pack the item(s) securely, preferably in the original packaging, including the jewelry box and the zip-lock bag. 
  • Please ensure that the package is sent with delivery to a business address so that it is delivered directly to:

    The package MUST be sent to this address. If it is sent to a parcel shop, it will not be collected.  
  • Make sure the package is correctly sent and keep the receipt as proof of shipment.  

To be eligible for a refund in case of lost shipments, the return must be sent with track and trace.  

Please note that you are responsible for purchasing the return shipping label, and you may choose the shipping provider of your choice. However, the package must be sent with delivery to a business address. Once we receive the package, we will process your return as soon as possible. 

Item condition when returning  

If the item has lost value due to use beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, properties, and functionality, you will only receive a partial refund. The refunded amount depends on the item’s market value, and in some cases, only shipping costs will be refunded. 

We recommend returning the item in its original packaging. If the packaging is missing, this may result in a depreciation of the item’s value. 
 

5. Refund of Purchase Amount  

If you cancel your purchase, you will receive a refund. If the item has depreciated in value, the amount you are liable for will be deducted from your refund. 

We will refund all payments received from you, including shipping costs (except additional shipping costs incurred by selecting a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery option we offer) within 14 days of receiving your notice of cancellation. 

Refunds will only be issued to the account used for the purchase. Alternatively, we can offer a gift card for the refunded amount. 

We may withhold payment until we have received the item unless you provide documentation of having returned it. 

If you do not return the order within the withdrawal period or fail to notify us of your intention to exercise the right of withdrawal within the deadline, you will lose the right to cancel the purchase and receive a full refund. 
 

6. Warranty and Complaints  

When purchasing from us as a consumer, the Danish Sale of Goods Act applies. This means you have a 24-month warranty. 

If your complaint is justified, you can either have the item repaired, replaced, refunded, or receive a price reduction, depending on the specific situation. 

You must lodge a complaint within a “reasonable time” after discovering the defect. If you complain within two months of noticing the issue, the complaint will always be considered timely. 

For complaints regarding defects, please contact us as soon as possible at support@wintherstudio.com, and include a photo of the defect and the order number. 

Warranty claims are void if the issue arises due to incorrect use, and the defect must have been present upon receiving the item. 

If your complaint is valid, we will reimburse reasonable return shipping costs. The item must be returned in secure packaging, and you should obtain proof of shipment to claim reimbursement.

We only accept packages sent directly to the business address.  If it is sent to a parcel shop, it will not be collected. 

When returning the item, include a detailed description of the issue. 

7. Complaint Options  

If you wish to file a complaint about your purchase, you can send a complaint to support@wintherstudio.com. 

If we cannot find a solution, you can submit a complaint to the EU Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform here: http://ec.europa.eu/odr. 
 

8. Exchange of Items  

We offer one exchange per original order. This means you save on return shipping, but you will need to pay for the shipping of the new item. 

If you wish to exchange for a different item, you must choose return instead of exchange in our return portal to access our full selection. 

If you wish to exchange for a higher-value item, you must pay the price difference. 

Please note that it is not possible to exchange an order that has already been exchanged once. 

You can easily exchange your order through our return portal. 
 

9. Payment with Klarna  

Your personal data shared during the transaction is processed in accordance with Klarna’s data protection policy. 

If you select Klarna as your payment method, you will be redirected to Klarna’s platform, where you need to log into your Klarna account or create a new one to complete the purchase. 

By selecting Klarna, you accept Klarna’s terms and conditions, and you may qualify for Klarna’s buyer protection policy. 
 

10. Payment  

At Winther Studio, payment can be made via credit card, PayPal, and other options. We do not charge card fees. 

Payments are handled by third-party providers. For credit card purchases, payment is not processed until your order has been packed and is ready for shipment. The funds may appear reserved in your account. 

If paying with an international payment card, the amount is reserved immediately and will remain so until it is charged upon shipment or released according to your card issuer’s policy.

For more details, check with your card issuer about specific rules. 

Accepted payment methods include MasterCard, Visa, and ApplePay. 
 
 

11. Privacy Policy  

When you shop with us, we need the following details: Name, address, phone number, and email address. 

We register and share only the necessary personal data required to deliver the item to you. 

Your personal data is stored at Winther Studio ApS for five years, after which it is deleted. 

We collaborate with trusted third-party companies that store and process data only on our behalf—they are not permitted to use data for their own purposes. 

We only cooperate with EU-based data processors or companies that meet sufficient security standards. 

The data controller at www.wintherstudio.com is Winther Studio ApS. 

You have the right to know what personal data we process about you. If you believe your information is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected. 

In some cases, we must delete your data if you request it—such as when your data is no longer necessary for its intended purpose.

12. How to Take Care of Your Jewelry  

Proper care ensures your jewelry lasts longer. Here are some tips: 

Stainless Steel (Waterproof Jewelry) & Sterling Silver:

  • Store your jewelry in a dry and clean place, away from moisture, sunlight, and heat. 
  • Keep items separate to avoid scratches—use a jewelry box or the pouch provided. 
  • Remove your jewelry when sleeping, cleaning, or applying hand sanitizer. 
  • Avoid contact with strong chemicals. 
  • Clean your jewelry with a dry polishing cloth after wearing them. 

Brass & Copper Jewelry: 

  • Store your jewelry in a dry and clean place, away from moisture, sunlight, and heat. 
  • Keep items separate to avoid scratches—use a jewelry box or the pouch provided. 
  • Remove your jewelry when sleeping, showering, cleaning, exercising, or applying hand sanitizer. 
  • Avoid exposure to liquids or chemicals such as perfume, lotion, cleaning products, salt water, and chlorine. 
  • Clean your jewelry with a dry polishing cloth after wearing them. 
     

13. Standard Withdrawal Form
